Home Show Extravaganza is Coming!

HS_1922_New_SmallThe Indianapolis Home Show is the nation’s oldest and the Midwest’s largest home-focused extravaganza with more than 900 exhibits. Now in its 91st year, the Indianapolis Home Show offers thousands of products, decorating, construction and remodeling ideas for visitors to gather and compare.

The Indianapolis Home Show runs Friday, Jan. 25, and continues through Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013.

Fischer Homes is out to wow visitors to the Indianapolis Home Show as the designer and builder of the Centerpiece Home — a fully-constructed, decorated and landscaped home built entirely inside Exposition Hall. The Centerpiece Home has consistently been a top draw for the show, and this year Fischer Homes takes it to a new level with the Nottoway. With 5,191 square feet – not including basement or garage – four bedrooms and up to 4½ bathrooms, it is by far the largest Centerpiece Home constructed indoors for the Home Show!

Want to get a sneak peek at what’s going on inside the Centerpiece Home as its being designed and built? Follow the blog “An Inside Look” at indycenterpiecehome.com for the design and décor details from inside the Centerpiece Home, and share with others in the days leading up to the 2013 Indianapolis Home Show.

Sprinkled throughout the entire Home Show are 25,000 square feet devoted to landscaping and gardening, with lavish feature gardens! And this year’s celebrity guests include appearances by Frank Fritz from History’s Channel “American Pickers,” plus green expert Ahmed Hassan and Rehab Addict Nicole Curtis, among others.

Fischer Homes Builds 2013 Indy Home Show Centerpiece Home

Fischer Homes returns to the Home Show as the 2013 Centerpiece Home builder!

Designed and fully-constructed by the Fischer Homes team, the 2013 Centerpiece Home will be built entirely inside Exposition Hall at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Fischer Homes will be showcasing its Nottoway design as the Centerpiece Home with a French Country elevation. The home starts at 4,190 square feet, excluding the basement. The Nottoway being constructed at the Home Show will have four bedrooms and three and a half baths located on the main two levels of the home.

“Fischer Homes is proud to be back building the Centerpiece Home at the Indianapolis Home Show,” said Stephen Whaley, corporate marketing manager for Fischer Homes. “This year’s home will showcase a Grand Estates Custom offering, which provides both a level of luxury and a scale beyond anything we have shown before. We are consistently focused on improving the design and livability of our homes. Home Show attendees will experience this firsthand in the Centerpiece Home as well as see it in other design elements represented at the Home Show.”

Since 1980, Fischer Homes has been building homes and delivering an exceptional customer experience in neighborhoods throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. In 2009, Fischer Homes brought a fresh new look to Indianapolis with their designs, streetscapes and stylized exteriors. They are now building in more than 29 locations in Carmel, Geist, Fishers, McCordsville, Zionsville, Westfield, Noblesville, Avon, Center Grove and Greenwood. The company doubled its sales from 2010 to 2011 and has again doubled its sales in 2012.

“Our focus is on continuing to build great value for our customers while maintaining beautiful communities and streetscapes,” said Brad Kriner, Indianapolis division manager for Fischer Homes. “Fischer Homes’ commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is evident in our 99.6% customer satisfaction rating in Indianapolis.”

Interior designer Joy Perkins from Touch of Class will work with Christine Robbins of the Fischer Homes team in decorating the Centerpiece Home to showcase a variety of options for customizing the home interior. She plans to use a “Rustic Luxe” theme throughout the home.

“I want to use a variety of vintage items, antiques, barn items and a blend of woods,” Perkins said. “Rustic luxury is the biggest rage in the industry, and I’m very intrigued with what I can create with the French Country elevation of the Centerpiece Home and that being mimicked on the interior for an overall French European feel.” Landscaping comes courtesy of William H. Brown Landscaping in Zionsville.
