Seafood Nutrition Partnership
Last night the Indianapolis coalition of the Seafood Nutrition Partnership held a kick-off meeting at Late Harvest Kitchen, including Executive Director Linda Cornish and her advisors from Quirk Communications. Linda gave an informative presentation on the group’s goal of increasing seafood consumption and awareness in the pilot cities of Indianapolis and Memphis, with the health advocacy program expanding in 2015 and beyond. The USDA/HHS Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommend eating seafood twice a week for optimum health.
Our coalition members were excited and full of great ideas. We even watched a special video from former Indiana Pacer Detlef Schrempf, a Seafood Nutrition Partnership board member and spokesman.
